Iced Latte Macchiato

Iconic, ice-cold and refreshing. We’ll show you how you can easily make this with NESCAFÉ.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsps. (4g) NESCAFÉ Gold
  • 2 Tbsps. (30ml) freshly boiled water (approximately 75º C)​
  • 1 tsp. (4g) brown sugar (optional)​
  • 7 medium ice cubes​
  • 160ml cold low fat milk​

Create It!

STEP ONE

Mix the instant coffee with the hot water. Stir it well, and leave to chill.

STEP TWO

Place the ice cubes in a tall glass.

STEP THREE

Froth the milk with a handheld frother for 3 minutes. If you’re using sugar, add it before frothing. You’re aiming for a foam layer of 2 fingers thick - 35mm, to be precise.

STEP FOUR

Pour the foamed milk into the glass over the ice cubes.

STEP FIVE

Slowly pour the chilled coffee brew into the milk foam. Aim for the centre to create those iconic macchiato layers.
