Shaken Cappuccino
This simple, delicious recipe will have a cappuccino in your mug without a coffee machine – just the robust flavour of Nescafé.
Ingredients
- 2 tsps (4g) instant Nescafe Gold
- 2 Tbsps (30ml) freshly boiled water (approximately 75º C)
- 190ml low fat milk
- Nutmeg, cinnamon, or cocoa powder (optional)
Create It!
STEP ONE
Mix the instant coffee and boiling water. Stir it well, and pour it into your mug of choice.
STEP TWO
Heat the milk in a glass container for 1 minute in a microwave, and give it a stir once it’s warmed up.
STEP THREE
Froth the hot milk for 2 minutes with a handheld frother. You’re aiming for a foam layer that’s 2 fingers thick – 35mm, to be precise.
STEP FOUR
Pour the frothed milk into the coffee.
STEP FIVE
Sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon, or cocoa, and serve immediately.
