NESCAFÉ Konafa

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilo
    Shredded Konafa dough
  • 1 cup
    Ghee or margarine
  • 1 pack
    Cream cheese
  • 1 cup
    Cream
  • 1 pack
    Vanilla powder
  • 1 cup
    Water
  • 1 cup
    Sugar
  • 1 tbsp
    NESCAFÉ Gold
  • 1
    Lemon

Method of Preparation

1) In a bowl, whip the cream until its texture thickens up
2) Add the cream cheese and vanilla powder
3) Continue to whip until all ingredients are mixed and texture is creamy
4) Finely shred the Konafa dough with your hands, tearing it apart into small sections
5) Add the cup of ghee or margarine to the dough
6) Place the konafa dough into a pan over a medium flame continually flipping it until the dough is golden
7) Remove the konafa dough and pour the chilled NESCAFÉ atop it and set aside to cool
8) Spread some ghee or margarine to the bottom of a rectangular or square dish (height of 25 cm)
9) Add three portions of the konafa dough and half of the cream mixture
10) Even out the top of the konafa dough and place it in the fridge until it is time to serve and enjoy!
