Step 1 COMBINE water, coffee granules, sugar, ginger, peppercorns, cardamom and cinnamon in small container. Let sit for 3 minutes.
Step 2 PLACE milk in microwave-safe pitcher. Microwave on HIGH (100%) power for 1 minute, 30 seconds or until very hot. Strain coffee mixture into pitcher; discard spices. Divide between 2 mugs.
Step 3 Tip: Use cold milk in place of hot and serve over ice for an Iced Chai Coffee.
