- ●¼ cup hot water
- ●2 teaspoons Nescafé® Taster’s Choice® French Roast 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules
- ●1 cup all-purpose flour
- ●¾ cup packed light brown sugar
- ●½ teaspoon baking powder
- ●¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ●1/3 cup lowfat milk
- ●1 large egg, beaten
- ●1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ●1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ●1 cup powdered sugar
- ●2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Make It
Step 1
Combine water and coffee granules in a small bowl; stir until coffee is dissolved. Reserve 2 tablespoons coffee mixture for glaze.
Step 2
Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder and baking soda in medium bowl. Combine milk, egg, unreserved coffee mixture, oil and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Stir milk mixture into flour mixture just until combined.
Step 3
Spray 24-cup mini-muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray. Spoon batter evenly into cups, filling about 2/3 full.
Step 4
Bake at 350° F for 9 to 11 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Step 5
Beat powdered sugar and butter in medium mixer bowl. Add reserved coffee mixture one teaspoon at a time until consistency of a glaze. Spread glaze over tops of doughnut holes or dip tops into glaze.
