We're Steaming Ahead

When you think of steam power, you probably think of old locomotives from the history books. But good old water vapor is the heartbeat of modern and clean factories too.

Harvesting steam power can actually be a very clean process. Our best-in-class factories burn coffee grounds that would otherwise be thrown away. This gives us all the fuel we need to make steam. We've even installed innovative nozzles that use less steam to create the instant coffee granules you love from NESCAFÉ.

We’re proud to say we’ve reduced the carbon emissions from our factories in the last 10 years. But we won’t rest until we’ve reached net zero.

So the next time you enjoy a steamy cup of NESCAFÉ, say cheers to the clean power of steam!

Coffee's In Our Blood

We've worked with Mexican coffee farmers for generations, even partnering with the children and grandchildren of the first farmers we helped.

We're Putting Less Water In Our Coffee

Our coffee is often grown in places where water’s scarce, so we’re helping our farmers get smarter with how they use it. Coffee’s important – but water conservation is vital!

We Believe In 'Reinjarnation'

The jar in your hand may have had a previous life. Glass can be infinitely recycled, and every ton of recycled glass we use saves over 1,450 lbs of CO2.
