What is a liquid coffee concentrate?

Liquid coffee concentrate is a strong, brewed coffee that has been reduced to a concentrated form. It is designed to be diluted with water, milk, or other liquids to create coffee beverages quickly and conveniently. It’s often used in food service, cold brew systems, or ready-to-drink products.

What is the Difference between a Syrup and a Concentrate?

The term “syrup” is typically a viscous liquid made by dissolving sugar in water, often with added flavours, and commonly used as sweeteners or flavouring.

The term “concentrate” is a liquid that has had most of its water content removed, resulting in a highly concentrated flavour or ingredient. Concentrates are intended to be diluted with water or another liquid before use.

Syrups are typically used as-is for flavouring and sweetening, while concentrates are meant to be diluted before consumption.

Is it suitable for hot drinks?

You can mix it with hot milk or water for a quick hot espresso-style drink.

How do I prepare Nescafé Espresso Concentrate?

We recommend using a 50ml serve of Nescafé Espresso Concentrate for the best flavour experience. For an iced coffee: Add 50ml of concentrate to 250ml (1 cup) glass of cold milk and ice. Stir and enjoy! For a hot coffee: Add 50ml of concentrate to 250ml (1 cup) hot milk or water. Stir well and serve immediately. If you prefer a milder taste, you can use less than 50ml and adjust to your liking.

What are the Benefits of using NESCAFÉ® Espresso Concentrates?
