For over 80 years, we’ve worked alongside farmers to grow our collective coffee knowledge – it’s what helps us bring you the best cup of coffee we know how. It’s quite a journey from bean to cup. Want to learn about what goes into your NESCAFÉ® Farmers Origins?
Taste and Quality

The first step toward a great-tasting cup of coffee is in the land. Our farmers grow their crop in the fertile soils of ideal coffee climates. It’s here that our coffee beans begin developing their distinct character and high quality.
Money doesn’t grow on trees, but did you know coffee does? The beans live inside the cherry that grows on the coffee tree. It doesn’t all ripen at once, which means it takes a farmer’s skill and time to carefully comb the fields and harvest only the ripe coffee cherries. After harvest, farmers take just as much care to process the coffee, getting down to the bean that we then roast.

Because every coffee is unique, we tailor the time and temperature of the roast to the character of each coffee. It’s part science, part art, and it unlocks each origin’s enticing flavours.

Freshly roasted coffee is like fresh bread – it’ll go stale if you leave it out. That’s why we seal the ground beans in aluminium capsules approved for Nespresso® machines. Aluminium protects the freshness for up to 50 times longer. Locked away from moisture and air, the coffee keeps those delicious tastes and aromas the farmers worked so hard to bring you.

Each NESCAFÉ® Farmers Origins coffee invites your senses on a trip to its origins. Where will you travel to first?
