What to serve at your Coffee Morning
A slice of cake is delicious alongside a cup of coffee. We recommend providing a variety of cakes and sweets for your guests to enjoy. To get you started, we have a few recipes for you to try:
Dalgona Coffee
EASY AND DELICIOUS
Create It
- Put 2 teaspoons of NESCAFÉ Classic or NESCAFÉ Gold Blend into a mixing bowl.
- Add 2 teaspoons of sugar.
- Add 20 ml of water. You can make this recipe with hot or cold water – NESCAFÉ Classic coffee granules completely dissolve, regardless of the temperature of water you use.
- Mix for about 5 minutes until the coffee, sugar, and water mix becomes foamy and dense.
- Add your ice cubes to your drinking glass, and pour in the milk. Using a spoon, scoop out the coffee foam and place it on top of the milk.This recipe is delicious with any milk of your choice, whether it’s dairy, or a plant-based dairy alternative.

Coffee and Banana Smoothie
FRESH AND SWEET
Create It
- Place all the ingredients except the ice cubes into a blender.
- Process, adding the ice cubes one at a time until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a tall glass, dust with cinnamon and serve.

Coffee Muffins with Streusel Topping
SWEET AND CRUNCHY
Create It
- Preheat the oven to 180°C, (160°C for fan ovens), Gas Mark 4. Place the muffin cases into the tray.
- Put all the ingredients for the streusel topping, except hazelnuts, into a food processor and pulse to make coarse crumbs. Stir in the hazelnuts if using. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar and bicarbonate of soda. In another bowl or food mixer, beat the eggs and mix in the crème fraiche, cooled butter, coffee and milk.
- Stir the wet mix into the flour mix, until just combined. It should drop slowly from the beater; if dry, add a little more milk.
- Divide the batter between the 12 cases, filling about half way. Sprinkle the streusel mixture on top and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until well risen and a skewer comes out clean.

2large eggs, at room temperature

300ghalf fat crème fraiche (contains milk)

2-3tbspNESCAFÉ Original, dissolved in 2tbsp boiling water

4tbspskimmed milk
-
100gbutter, melted and cooled
