For over 19 years, we have been working with our farmers in Cumbria, through our dedicated Milk Plan, to produce great milk, heroing quality - every time.
We support regenerative farming, and Nescafé are proud to work with farmers who are doing things differently; for the benefit of their cows, their community, the countryside – and our coffee.
The Gill Farm
Richard has been a Milk Plan farmer since 2022 and joined the First Milk co-op just over a year ago, with the passion for farming for the future and embedding regenerative practices into his farm.
Carol, who has been a Milk Plan farmer since 2015, is also passionate about regenerative farming, having has worked on the family farm for 14 years. She is an advocate for the importance women in agriculture.
“Regenerative farming is important because the land and the animals need to be there for the next generation”
The Raisgill farm joined the First Milk co-op back in 2003, and since then has seen the development in dairy farming and the emergence of regenerative practices. Steve is one of the few local land stewards in the Cumbria area.
“I feel proud to be a farmer and very lucky to be a Nestlé producer”
My real passion is to educate the wider community, especially children, on where are food comes from and the importance of farming for the landscape.
“To know that we work so hard to make people’s lives that much better for having a cup of coffee is an amazing feeling”
