Improving soil health

We work closely with farmers to help them nurture the soil in which the coffee trees grow. We use detailed soil health analysis to understand what the soil of each farm needs. Then we create a unique solution (with the farmers) to manage the nutrients for better soil protection & fertility.

CARBON REDUCTION
Welcome To Our Carbon Reduction Journey

More and more of us want to know where our cup of coffee comes from, how it is manufactured and its sustainability credentials. Which is why we are excited to be able to share our NESCAFÉ GOLD BLEND Origins journey with you. We have set ourselves the challenge to reduce our carbon footprint year-on-year, and to share with you the steps we are taking to do this. So come and join us on the journey. We conducted a Life Cycle Assessment to measure our carbon footprint and this is where our reduction journey has started.  Since 2018, we've been working to use our coffee beans more efficiently, whilst keeping the taste you love. It'll be challenging but we're fully committed to further reductions in the coming years.  For example, we aim to increase recycled materials in packaging as well as work on more planned actions.
