Treat yourself with this delicious twist on iced coffee! Our dalgona coffee recipe is easily made in 3 quick steps, then you can sit back, relax and enjoy.

What you need

  • 2tsp (4g) NESCAFÉ Classic or NESCAFÉ Gold Blend
  • 2tsp (12g) sugar
  • 20ml hot water (Approx. 80ºC)
  • 170ml of semi-skimmed milk
  • A few ice cubes
  • Required equipment
  • Spoon, whisk or a mixer
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Glass, to serve

Dalgona recipe - step 1
STEP ONE

Put 2 teaspoons of NESCAFÉ Classic or NESCAFÉ Gold Blend into a mixing bowl.

STEP TWO

Add 2 teaspoons of sugar.

STEP THREE

Add 20 ml of water
You can make this recipe with hot or cold water – NESCAFÉ Classic coffee granules completely dissolve, regardless of the temperature of water you use.

STEP FOUR

Mix for about 5 minutes until the coffee, sugar, and water mix becomes foamy and dense.

STEP FIVE

Add your ice cubes to your drinking glass, and pour in the milk. Using a spoon, scoop out the coffee foam and place it on top of the milk.
This recipe is delicious with any milk of your choice, whether it’s dairy, or a plant-based dairy alternative.

So, what is a Dalgona coffee, exactly? The Dalgona iced coffee became a worldwide favourite on social media. It’s easy to make, with just a few ingredients, and refreshingly ice cold. We’d recommend using an electric whisk if you have one, as you’ll need to mix the coffee, water, and sugar together until it’s foamy. A normal whisk works just as well, and you can even make this Dalgona coffee recipe with a teaspoon. It takes a bit longer without a whisk, but keep going.
