Mocha Bombs

Add an explosion of flavor to your mug, with this sweet treat made with rich NESCAFÉ Clásico and creamy chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups plus 3 Tbsp
    NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, divided
  • 4 Tbsp
    Vegetable shortening, divided
  • 12 Tbsp (3/4 cup)
    NESCAFÉ® Clásico™ Instant Coffee
  • 6 Tbsp
    Hot chocolate mix
  • 1/4 cup
    NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels (or other morsels of choice
  • 3/4 cup
    Mini marshmallows
  • 2 1/2-inch
    Silicone sphere or heart-shaped molds, 12 wells total

Method of Preparation

  1. Microwave 2 cups semi-sweet morsels and 2 tablespoons shortening in medium, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 1 minute. Stir until smooth. Paint the chocolate into the silicone molds to create a thin layer on the insides. Remove excess chocolate.
  2. Repeat Step 1 with 2 cups semi-sweet morsels and remaining 2 tablespoons shortening and then repeat process with remaining molds. Place molds into refrigerator to set.
  3. Once set, gently remove chocolate half spheres from molds and place on a sheet of parchment paper or clean work surface. Fill 6 of the half spheres with 2 tablespoons of NESCAFÉ Clásico, 1 tablespoon of hot chocolate mix, a pinch of mini morsels and marshmallows.
  4. Using a shallow microwave-safe bowl, melt remaining 3 tablespoons semi-sweet morsels in microwave according to package instructions. Pipe the melted morsels onto the lip/edge of one of the empty half spheres. Top one of the filled half spheres with this one to create a full sphere. Repeat with remaining half spheres. Refrigerate to set before using.
  5. Place one mocha bomb into a mug of hot milk and stir.

Café with Chocolate & Honey

Ingredients

  • 4 cups
    Milk
  • 3/4 cup
    NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Milk Chocolate Morsels
  • 2 Tbsp
    NESCAFÉ CLÁSICO 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules
  • 1 Tbsp
    Honey
  • Sweetened Whipped Cream

Method of Preparation

  1. Heat milk, morsels, NESCAFÉ CLÁSICO coffee granules and honey in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir constantly for 5 minutes or until morsels are melted and mixture reaches gentle boil.  Remove from heat.
  3. Pour evenly into mugs.  Top with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream and serve immediately.

Clásico Eggnog

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups
    Milk
  • 1 can (14 oz)
    NESTLÉ LA LECHERA Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 4
    Large egg yolks
  • 3 Tbsp
    NESCAFÉ CLÁSICO 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules
  • 1 tsp
    Ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cups
    Rum (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp
    Vanilla extract
  • Sweetened whipped cream
  • Ground cinnamon

Method of Preparation

  1. Whisk together milk, sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, coffee granules and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a medium sauce pan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently for 15 minutes or until mixture reaches a gentle boil and coats the back of a wooden spoon.
  3. Remove from heat, add rum and vanilla extract.
  4. Serve at room temperature or chilled topped with sweetened whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon.
