- ●1 1/4 cups granulated sugar, divided
- ●1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ●2 cups vegetable oil for frying
- ●10 (6-inch) fajita-size flour tortillas
- ●1/2 cup water
- ●1 tablespoon NESCAFÉ CLÁSICO 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules
- ●1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Make It
Step 1
Combine 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon in small bowl; set aside.
Step 2
Heat oil in medium skillet. Fry tortillas one at a time, turning once, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle fritters with cinnamon sugar.
Step 3
Combine remaining 1 cup sugar, water and coffee granules in medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat until it reaches a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until syrup thickens. Remove from heat; add vanilla extract. Serve with fritters.
