- ●1 ½ teaspoons Nescafé® Taster’s Choice® House Blend 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules, dissolved in 1/3 cup warm water
- ●1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- ●2 tablespoons olive oil
- ●1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- ●1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- ●2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- ●½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ●1 (about 1 ½ pounds) flank steak
Make It
Step 1
Combine coffee mixture, soy sauce, olive oil, sugar, vinegar, garlic and pepper in a non-reactive dish large enough to hold steak or in a gallon-size resealable plastic bag. Pierce steak all over with fork; add to marinade and turn to coat.
Step 2
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Add steak; cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side for rare to medium-rare.
Step 3
Transfer to cutting board; let steak rest for 5 minutes. Cut steak against the grain into ¼-inch-thick slices. Serve topped with chimichurri sauce, if desired.
