- ●1 cup water
- ●2/3 cup half-and-half
- ●1/4 cup molasses
- ●1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- ●2 tablespoons NESCAFÉ® Taster's Choice® House Blend 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules, plus more for sprinkling
- ●1 teaspoon ground ginger
- ●1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ●1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
- ●1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- ●1/4 cup rum, ideally dark rum
- ●About 1/2 cup whipped cream
- ●Ginger cookies
Make It
Step 1
Combine water, half-and-half, molasses, sugar, coffee granules, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until coffee and sugar dissolve and mixture comes to a simmer.
Step 2
Stir in rum.
Step 3
Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and additional coffee granules. Serve with cookies.
Step 4
Note: If you’d prefer a non-alcoholic cocktail, omit the rum (or let guests add their own).
