  • Made with hot coffee, half-and-half, gingerbread spices and rum, this cocktail is served warm to remind you of holiday cookies fresh from the oven.

  • 1 cup water
  • 2/3 cup half-and-half
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons NESCAFÉ® Taster's Choice® House Blend 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules, plus more for sprinkling
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 cup rum, ideally dark rum
  • About 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • Ginger cookies
Make It
Step 1
Combine water, half-and-half, molasses, sugar, coffee granules, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until coffee and sugar dissolve and mixture comes to a simmer.
Step 2
Stir in rum.
Step 3
Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and additional coffee granules. Serve with cookies.
Step 4
Note: If you’d prefer a non-alcoholic cocktail, omit the rum (or let guests add their own).
